C0035: Left front wheel speed sensor circuit

● Fix soon
Usually drivable for a short time, but check it soon. It can get worse.

The ABS computer sees a missing or wrong signal from the left front wheel. The driver may see the ABS and traction lights on.

Guided check

  1. Does live data show one wheel speed wrong or at zero on a road test?
If yes: Inspect that sensor and its wiring first. Road test carefully, as ABS may not work.
  2. Is the wiring or connector damaged near the wheel?
If yes: Repair the wiring and clear the code.
  3. Is the tone ring damaged or the wheel bearing loose?
If yes: Replace the damaged part, then check the signal again.

These checks are general and are still being reviewed by working mechanics.

Causes vary by car. Test before you order a part.

Likely causes, most common first

  • Dirty or faulty wheel speed sensor
  • Damaged wiring near the wheel
  • Damaged tone ring or wheel bearing
  • Corroded connector

Parts usually involved
